Why Don’t You Design a Chair?, 2023
For my diploma project at ECAL (École cantonale d'art de Lausanne), I am exploring how I can enhance the value of readily available materials found in department stores through the use of design methods, traditional handcrafting skills, and manufacturing techniques.
This involves combining woodworking skills, 3D modelling for CNC machines, fabric cutting, and sewing. Despite the millions of chairs that have been designed and built, I believe there is always a need for unique and innovative chair designs. So why not design your own chair?
